Church thanks God after earthquake in Venezuela and mobilizes aid campaign for affected families

Venezuela was hit by a strong earthquake on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, causing destruction of buildings, leaving fatal victims, and worsening the difficult situation faced by the country.

In the midst of a scene of pain and uncertainty, one piece of news brought relief to the family of faith: according to information from the president of the Venezuelan field, Brother Rober Pabón, no member of the Seventh-day Adventist Reform Movement Church, nor any of its churches, suffered damage as a result of the disaster.

In the face of this demonstration of God's care, brothers from various parts of the world united in gratitude and prayer, interceding for the Venezuelan population, which is facing another serious humanitarian crisis. The moment also reinforced the Christian call to solidarity and care for those who need it most.

As an immediate response to the tragedy, the Social Assistance Department of DASAMOR initiated a humanitarian action in favor of the affected families, sending over 1,000 pieces of clothing and shoes to meet the most urgent needs. The initiative demonstrates the church's commitment to transforming faith into concrete actions of love for one's neighbor, bringing hope and assistance to the affected communities.
