From July 24 to 26, in Campo Grande (MS), a Young Conference took place, promoted by the Sul-Mato-Grossense Association (ASSULMAT), with the theme "And If Everything Started Today?". The meeting provided moments of spiritual reflection, praise, integration, and significant decisions for Christian life.
The program had Pr. Joás Barbosa as the preacher, who presented the messages "When God Calls" on Friday night, Saturday: "When God Sends" in the morning and "When Everything Begins" in the afternoon, encouraging participants to answer God's call and start a new journey of faith.
On Friday, the program took place at the Aero Rancho Church. On Saturday and Sunday, the participants gathered at a farm, where they enjoyed an environment conducive to communion, learning, and strengthening bonds among young people.
One of the most significant moments occurred on Saturday, between Sabbath School and Divine Worship, when three young people were baptized in a ceremony conducted by Pr. José Francisco Campos, president of the Sul-Mato-Grossense Association (ASSULMAT). The celebration was accompanied by moments of praise and spiritual experience reports that strengthened the faith of those present.
On Sunday morning, the youth participated in recreational activities, promoting integration and healthy coexistence. In the afternoon, a conversation circle allowed participants to share their impressions of the event, the teachings received, and the challenges of Christian life, followed by lectures.
During the testimonies, many young people expressed gratitude for the moments lived and stated that they felt welcomed and valued. Some reported that they decided to resume their journey with God, after a period away from the church. The meeting also had the presence of young people who were no longer attending church and friends invited by the participants, expanding the reach of the initiative.
The Young Conference reaffirmed the importance of investing in youth, promoting environments of communion, spiritual growth, and faith strengthening. The church continues to pray that the fruits of this meeting will remain in the life of each participant.
