Salesópolis (SP) – From July 13 to 23, 2026, the Vacation Colportage of the Northeast South Paulista Association (ANESP), in the Southwest Brazilian Union, brought together young people, teenagers, leaders, and workers in an intense evangelistic program that reached residents of Salesópolis and Biritiba Mirim, leaving results that will continue to be followed by the church.
The project had the participation of twenty-eight young people and teenagers, accompanied by ten monitors, who started the activities after a day of training. The participants were sent to the missionary field in pairs for the distribution of literature and evangelistic visits.
The work advanced so significantly that the entire city of Salesópolis was reached. In the last days of the program, the team expanded its activities to Biritiba Mirim, a neighboring municipality, where new families also received visits and Christian literature.
Beyond evangelization, the program strengthened the local congregation. Moments of integration among the youth, conversations with the leadership, recreational activities, and spiritual encouragement were held for the brothers who meet in the church hall of the city.
The colportage director, Paulo Sana, and his wife participated actively in the activities, motivating the young people during the program. The event also received a visit from Pastor Davi Germano, president of the Association, who accompanied part of the missionary work.
The graduation ceremony also had the presence of Pastor Aloísio Wagner, Brother Renan Simão, Department of Youth of ANESP, as well as pastors, workers, and other collaborators of the association, who supported the project throughout the period.
An interesting fact is that this Vacation Colportage had the presence of Pr. Mario Linares, director of Colportage of the General Conference, and Pr. Joás Barbosa, director of Colportage of the Southwest Brazilian Union.
As a result of the work, some participants expressed their desire to surrender their lives to Christ through baptism. Some are already planning to make this decision this year, while others are preparing for 2027, demonstrating the spiritual impact of the missionary experience.
The expectation is that the seeds sown through the distribution of literature and visits will continue to produce fruit, leading many people to the knowledge of the gospel.
As inspiration for the project, the message of Isaiah 52:7 stood out:
"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation..."
