From July 10 to 12, members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church - Reform Movement of Perpetual Help, along with those from Pirativa, participated in Reavivados 2026, held at the Retiro do Pirativa State School, in Amapá. The program included conferences, moments of prayer, communion activities, and the baptism of Tauane and Eules.
Every year, participants from Macapá cross the Amazon River to reach the meeting location. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and is made in a small vessel. For those who participated for the first time, the trip provided a memorable experience.
The series of conferences was presented by Pastor Antônio Deiblan, vice-president of the North-Northeast Union and responsible for the Family Department. With the theme "Building on the Rock", the messages aimed to spiritually strengthen people who faced discouragement or distance from communion with God and the church.
One of the important moments of Reavivados 2026 took place on Saturday at 3 pm, with the baptism of Tauane and Eules. The two were received as church members through the ceremony, accompanied by the participants of the meeting.
In addition to the spiritual program and the river crossing, the event also valued elements of regional culture. Approximately 100 liters of açaí were donated to be served during the meeting.
Reavivados is an annual program that brings together members and visitors in activities focused on strengthening faith, communion, and encouraging participation in church life.
